United Parcel Service
At UPS, I worked as a Software Engineering Intern / Co-op, contributing to the development of internal tools that support large-scale logistics operations. I was involved in designing and implementing full-stack features, integrating APIs, and improving system performance in a production environment.
Overview
During my internship at UPS, I worked on building and optimizing enterprise-level applications used in real-world logistics systems. This experience allowed me to develop scalable solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on exposure to cloud-based architecture and production environments.
What I Worked On
I contributed to the development of a full-stack internal web application using Angular and .NET, designed to streamline internal workflows and improve data visibility across teams.
My work included building front-end components, integrating backend APIs, and ensuring seamless communication between systems. I also worked with Azure services to support cloud deployment and data synchronization.
Key Contributions
Developed and enhanced features using Angular (frontend) and .NET Core (backend)
Integrated REST APIs to connect internal systems and services
Worked with Azure SQL and on-prem databases to manage and synchronize data
Assisted in implementing secure authentication and role-based access using Azure Entra ID
Supported CI/CD pipelines and participated in deployment processes (DEV → UAT → PROD)
Collaborated with designers and stakeholders to align technical implementation with user needs
Tools and Technologies
Frontend: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Backend: .NET Core (C#), REST APIs
Cloud & Database: Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory
Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Postman, Git, Figma
